Well I am back from my little mini break. Which was a good thing, as I had a bit of a book funk going on.

Sometimes you need a breather and then you make yourself read. Feels great to be back in the game!

Shera’s thoughts:

I really like this cover. It's sooooooo awesome! That captain's uniform, or whatever, looks stunning on her.

Who new that looking through a monocular could look so glamorous?

Though does this mean that the first two books are going to get a makeover? Because this does not match. Wait. I just remembered the cover for book 2, that was the makeover. Again. As you were.

This one is definitely better.

So cool! I can't wait to see how many different crow covers we're going to get.

I love how detailed the head and wings are and then fade to silhouette at the bottom. All while looking like it's on parchment paper.

Everything about this cover is on point.

Awesome.

Really fun. (If you know what they're called let me know.)

But I miss gorgeous artwork. I miss not seeing a cloaked/hooded figure on EVERY cover.

I miss cover artwork like the Valdemar books. Or many other great covers for other great series.

I had no idea that this series would be continuing! So this book has already been dropped. Seems like many series are getting a revival through indie or self pub.

Yeah for that.

Sadly I'm getting nervous for how they're not being properly relaunched.

Love that this cover fits the series so well.

*sighs* So pretty. I adore the covers for this series! There's something slightly off about the girl. She's too orange . . . something about her face.

Other than that it's solid. Fits the series so well.
