Some more covers!!! Yeah!

Impyrium by Henry H. Neff

Previous book(s) in series:

Goodreads | Amazon

Impyrium (Impyrium #1) Series: Impyrium, book 1

Add it: Goodreads | Amazon
Genre: Middle Grade Fantasy

Shera’s thoughts:

Normally I don't post Middle Grade unless I know the author, but this cover caught my attention!

I love that this looks like a door is opening, but the shadow of a monster has fallen on it. (Looks like Maleficent if I'm being honest.)

Julia Vanishes by Catherine Egan

Previous book(s) in series:

Goodreads | Amazon

Julia Vanishes (Untitled #1) Series: Untitled, book 1

Add it: Goodreads | Amazon
Genre: Paranormal Young Adult

Shera’s thoughts:

What a cover. The snow and girl area  blur, even part of the path.

But I love the endless quality of this brick corridor. Thing.

It conveys this feeling of loss that just chills me.

Sticks & Stones by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, Emily Jenkins

Previous book(s) in series:

Goodreads | Amazon

Sticks & Stones (Upside-Down Magic #2) Series: Upside Down Magic, book 2

Add it: Goodreads | Amazon
Genre: Middle Grade

Shera’s thoughts:

There's still a very cheesy quality to those wings, but it is a huge step up in art and style from the first book's cover.

Plus, that cross eyed cat. Too cute.

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

Previous book(s) in series:

Goodreads | Amazon

Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer #1) Series: Strange the Dearmer, book 1

Add it: Goodreads | Amazon
Genre: Young Adult Fantasy

"Strange the Dreamer is the story of:
the aftermath of a war between gods and men
a mysterious city stripped of its name
a mythic hero with blood on his hands
a young librarian with a singular dream
a girl every bit as perilous as she is imperiled
alchemy and blood candy, nightmares and godspawn, moths and monsters, friendship and treachery, love and carnage.
Welcome to Weep."

Shera’s thoughts:

OK, this cover is really awesome. It's gorgeous I love.

But.

It's not as cool as the artwork for the Daughter of Smoke & Bone series. Just saying.

The Paladins by Julie Reece

Previous book(s) in series:

Goodreads | Amazon

The Paladins (The Artisans #2) Series: The Artisans, book 2

Add it: Goodreads | Amazon
Genre: Paranormal Young Adult

Shera’s thoughts:

Again sometimes simple is perfect. I love how the background is absorbing the title.

Instead of being flat the background has this amazing texture and depth. Great job.

Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst

Previous book(s) in series:

Goodreads | Amazon

The Queen of Blood (The Queens of Renthia #1) Series: The Queen of Renthia, book 1

Add it: Goodreads | Amazon
Genre: Young Adult High Fantasy

Shera’s thoughts:

Yes! Yes. Yes-yes! YES!

Oh, I adore this cover!!! Look the title is actually interacting with the beautiful artwork!

I love this enchanted/magical forest. How the word "Blood" has a perfect gradient. That could have come off bad.

Wings of Vengeance by Cameo Ranae

Previous book(s) in series:

Goodreads | Amazon

Wings of Vengeance (Hidden Wings #5) Series: Hidden Wings, book 5

Add it: Goodreads | Amazon
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Shera’s thoughts:

So dramatic! I don't like how the black wings fit. Someone forgot to remove the white hair so it wouldn't overlay it.

It's so glaringly bad to me.

Winter Halo by Keri Arthur

Previous book(s) in series:

Goodreads | Amazon

Winter Halo Series: Outcast, book 2

Add it: Goodreads | Amazon
Genre: Urban Fantasy

Shera’s thoughts:

Ooooo, badass. What a great winter scene cover. Ah.

May I point out that she is fully clothed and the pose is realistic.
